In 1965, four local institutions namely Vancouver Vocational Institute, Vancouver School of Art,
Vancouver School Board’s Night School and the King Edward Senior Matriculation Education Centre
collaborated to form the largest and oldest community college in Vancouver, the Vancouver
Community College. The college offers 78 certificate, 28 diploma and 3 bachelor’s degree
programs in both full-time and part-time mode in subjects ranging from design, makeup, baking,

Dr. Bruce Damer TRU alumnus and multidisciplinary scientist Dr. Bruce Damer has dedicated his

Olds College was established in 1913 as a public post-secondary institution in Olds, Alberta.
Previously when the college was established, it was known as Olds Agricultural College, but in
